BREAKDOWN HIRE
Hire for when it's broken and for before you buy
Ralspeed has been designing and building soft starters, drives and control panels since 1988. The kit you hire is built, tested and serviced by the same engineers, so you’re talking to people who know exactly how it works.
If your plant is down and you need kit now or you want to prove energy savings first before you purchase, then Ralspeed can support your short-term requirements.
Drive failed? We'll get you running again.
When a soft starter or VSD goes, every hour of downtime costs money. Ralspeed hire units are free-standing and can go inside or outside, so they can be connected up as a temporary replacement while your own equipment is repaired or replaced.
How it works
- Call the hire desk. Tell us your motor details and application.
- We match and dispatch. We confirm the right unit from the fleet and agree on delivery.
- You’re back running. Connect up, restart and keep the unit for as long as the repair takes.
Need it sorted properly? Our servicing engineers can repair or replace the failed unit while the hire keeps you running, so you deal with one supplier from breakdown to fix.
PROJECT HIRE
Kit booked, on site on day one, running until the job's done
Planned works need control gear you can rely on for the whole programme, not just the first week. Tell us your dates and requirements and we’ll reserve the right units from our fleet, deliver to your start date and support them for as long as the project runs.
What you get with project hire
- Kit reserved for your dates. Once your booking is confirmed, the units are held for you.
- Long-term rates. Weekly and monthly pricing for extended hires.
- Support throughout the hire. Our engineers can inspect, service and swap out units during the project so a fault doesn’t stop your programme.

- One point of contact from quotation to off-hire.
