Ralspeed introduce 'Deal of the Month 
These are units that have been reclaimed back from our Hire Fleet – refurbished and as new with a full 12 month warranty.

PRICE INCREASES
 We at Ralspeed have held our prices on manufactured goods for almost 2 1/2 years but the rising costs of raw materials and the ever spiraling costs of transport has forced us to review our prices. Therefore from the 1st July 2005 new increased prices will apply.
However to counter some of the increases we will be offering better discounts for quantity, early payment and special projects.
Also we are introducing ‘deals’ of the month where we will be offering complete soft starters in IP54 enclosures of various sizes at special prices. These units are surplus from our ‘hire fleet’ that have been totally refurbished and carry a 12 month warranty. See this months offers above.

NEW STOCKIST ON BOARD
-WELCOME ELECTRICAL REWIND SERVICES-
ERS of Limerick in Ireland have become our latest stockist. They are stocking our R54 range up to 90kw. Because of their location ERS will also be able to support the rest of Ralspeeds range.
-STANDARD FEATURES-
Several Wholesalers have expressed a desire to become a distributor for our R54 range and we expect some of these to become stockists shortly – watch this space!

EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK
May and June have been good examples of months where we have almost exclusively built stand-alone starters.
 |
- 350kw, 450kw, 160kw and 76kw have all gone to a nearby quarry.
- 200kw and 250kw have gone to another quarry towards the Scottish border.
- A 250kw has gone to a Paper Mill for use on a Pulping machine.
- Two more 90kw R54 series have been shipped this month along with two 22/30kw units for use in the woodworking industry.

We continue to make inroads into specialist panel work and this month alone has seen several specially designed panels for DC injection braking and Ultrasonic Level Control.
 The Ultrasonic panels that we produce have a GSM system installed as standard. These panels work with our standard ‘hire’ fleet starters and up to six starters are controlled from one Ultrasonic panel. The GSM system sends alarm messages via the mobile network to alert engineers to possible control problems making this a totally unmanned system.
 Ralspeed have always made each development of our products compatible with the previous version and only recently we provided a 250kw replacement for a 15 year old unit!!!. Although the physical size was less all power and control connections were virtually the same – not many manufacturers can say the same

NEW DEVELOPMENTS
We are now adding accessories to our R54 range:
- Spreader Box – to enable more room for the power cables.
- Remote Control Unit. This is an IP54 sheet steel or polyester cabinet complete with a remote keypad and local remote keyswitch. The CAT5 cable is supplied and comes in 25/50 and 100 metre lengths (over 100m can be supplied)
- The R54 series is to be extended from its present limit of 90kw to include 4 more kilowatt sizes – i.e. 110/132/160/186kw. They will still be in wall mounting enclosures but the physical dimensions will increase to a footprint of 900x600x300 hxwxd-mm. These sizes will follow the same format as the existing series. The specification will include isolator, stop/start pushbuttons and door mounted keypad and LCD display. Some extra features will be local/remote keyswitch and the user will be able to specify a MCB instead of an isolator.
- Although the present physical sizes of all our chassis will remain for the rest of this year, a new range of chassis units will be introduced for 2006 which will be smaller but still retain the robust power connections

LATEST NEWS
At the time of going to press with this email newsletter an external Quality Audit was being held with QMS. The audit took only 3 hours and we passed again with 'flying colours' The auditor stated that 'Ralspeed has excellent systems in place and are always looking to improve to benefit the customer'.
As always our Customer Service Survey shows us that we excel at Customer Service and always endeavour to put the customer first.
Deborah Rooney - Quality Manager - is very pleased and it is a credit to herself and Ralspeed that we have again surpassed ourselves.
